About
Jianpeng Yao is currently a third-year Ph.D. student advised by Prof. Hang Qiu at the University of California, Riverside. Before that, he received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2019 and 2022, respectively. He worked as an algorithm engineer in the autonomous driving industry in 2023, where he focused on learning-based trajectory prediction and planning. His research interests include 3D reconstruction, reinforcement learning, robotics, and autonomous driving.
